TIP:
If the engine overheated, the inside of the
water pump housing may be deformed.
Therefore, make sure to remove the insert
cartridge when checking the water pump
housing.
2. Check the impeller, insert cartridge, and
outer plate cartridge. Replace if cracked
or worn.
3. Check the Woodruff key and the keyway
in the drive shaft. Replace if deformed or
worn.
4. Check the shift rod. Replace if cracked or
worn.
Assembling the water pump housing
Do not reuse an O-ring, always replace it
with a new one.
1. Install the seal 1 and cover 2 .
