2 Safety
This chapter contains all safety − related information. Including requirement regarding the
staff entrusted with the subject matter and the security measures to be taken. In addition,
the conditions under which safe handling is ensured and existing dangers and their pre −
ventative measures during the work processes.
2.1 Personnel requirements
2.1.1 Qualifications
Ĥ Work may only be carried out by qualified and instructed personnel.
Ĥ
The personnel must have read and understood the content of this document, in par −
ticular the safety − relevant instructions.
Ĥ
The statutory minimum age must be complied with.
2.1.2 Personal safety equipment
Ĥ Safe working clothes must be worn for all work.
Ĥ
Depending on the type of work, the required personal safety equipment must be
worn.
2.2 Important measures
Ĥ Please read this document.
Ĥ Use this document to identify spare parts during assembly and disassembly work.
Ĥ Only assembly and disassembly work as described in this document is permitted. If
Woodward L’Orange components are opened for other reasons, all guarantee claims
shall be rendered invalid.
Ĥ Components or assemblies may only be replaced with Woodward L’Orange spare
parts.
Ĥ Pay particular attention to cleanliness.
Ĥ Ensure that no fuel lines are damaged.
Ĥ Keep fuel lines away from heat sources.
Ĥ Always connect fuel lines with enough free space to avoid contact with other compo −
nents.
Ĥ Protect Woodward L’Orange components from damage and dirt accumulation.
Ĥ
Ensure the parts cannot be damaged during transport.
Ĥ After disassembly, all openings must be closed using suitable plugs.
Ĥ Make sure that there are no loose parts in or at the system after completion of assem −
bly or disassembly work.
