2. Gear Wheel − Removal
1) Remove the elastic screw (4, Fig. 2 )
2) Remove the plug (5).
3) Remove the 12 screws (3) from the gear
wheel (2).
4) Put the tool (94582) and intermediate
ring (6) in position as shown.
5) Put oil on the tool (94582A).
6) Attach the tool (94582A) to the shaft (1).
7) Torque the tool (94582A) to 50 Nm.
8) Tighten with your hand the special
nut (7). Make sure that there is no
clearance between the special nut and
the intermediate ring (6).
9) Turn the gear wheel (2), so that you can
install the six special screws (10).
10) Torque symmetrically the six special
screws (10) to 20 Nm.
11) Make sure that that there is a clearance
of approximately 1.0 mm between the
stop-bolt (8) and the connection
sleeve (11).
12) Fill the HP oil pump (94931) with engine
oil that has a viscosity of SAE30 to
SAE40.
Note: In unusual conditions, you can use
cylinder lubricating oil.
13) Connect the hydraulic connecting piece
(94582A) to the HP oil pump (94931),
refer to 9403 − 2 .
14) Apply a maximum pressure of 2000 bar
until oil flows out between the shaft and
the hydraulic connecting piece
(94582A).
15) Tighten symmetrically the six nuts (12).
16) Turn the stop-bolt (8) in small steps to
carefully loosen the connection
sleeve (11).
17) Decrease the pressure to zero.
18) Remove all tools and equipment.
19) Remove the the gear wheel (4) and the
connection sleeve (3).
