6) Remove the eight bolts (6, Fig. 3 ).
7) Put the three M8 jacking screws (94363)
into the tap holes (12) in the piston
skirt (4).
CAUTION
Injury Hazard: The weight
of the piston skirt is
approximately 22 kg. To
prevent injury, use the
correct equipment, or
sufficient personnel to lift
and move the piston skirt.
8) Tighten equally in small steps the
jacking screws (94363) until the piston
crown moves away from the piston
skirt (4).
9) Remove the jacking screws (94363).
10) Loosen the Allen screws(10, 11).
11) Remove the oil distributor (8).
12) Remove and discard the O-ring (7).
13) Remove and discard the two
gaskets (5).
Note: If it is necessary to remove the eight
elastic studs (9), you must use the
correct tools. Incorrect tools can
cause damage to the shank.
3. Assemble
1) If necessary, install the elastic studs (9)
as follows:
a) Put oil on the threads of the elastic
studs.
b) Torque symmetrically the elastic
studs to 25 Nm.
2) Apply oil to the O-ring (6) and the two
gaskets (5).
3) Install the new O-ring (6) and the two
gaskets (5).
4) Apply oil to the eight bolts (6).
5) Put the oil distributor (8) in position on
the piston crown (1).
6) Tighten the Allen screws (10, 11).
7) Put the piston skirt (4) in position in the
piston crown (1).
8) Attach the eight bolts (6) to the piston
skirt (4).
