Requirement:
You must mount the detector on a level surface to allow for proper
functioning of the drip management system (drain tube), which you connect to a
waste reservoir to divert solvent leaks away from the flow cell.
2.4 Stacking system modules
This procedure applies to system modules that are equipped with interlocking
features.
To stack the modules:
1. Install two alignment pins to the bottom of the module that will be placed on
top.
2. Place the rear feet of the module that you are adding atop the previously added
module in the system stack, and slide it backward until its rear alignment pin
rests in the rear alignment slot on the previously added module.

Grounded ac, 100 to 240 Vac, 50 to 60
Hz. Minimal power transients and
fluctuations.
Power cord type required:
• SVT, in the United States
• HAR type (or better), in Europe
For information regarding the type of
cord to use in other countries, contact
your local Waters distributor.
Warning:
To avoid spinal and muscular injury, do not attempt to lift a system
module without assistance.
Warning:
To avoid crushing your fingers beneath or between modules, use
extreme care when installing a module in the system stack.
