Pull off the gasket from the door groove and install the new gasket
referring to the directions below.
1. Remove the door gasket and clean the groove
of the old gasket’s
remainder (plain water is okay).
2. Line the inside of both sides/walls of the gasket groove with grease (red
arrows).
Note: It is recommended to use a silicone based lubricant such as Würth
Silicone Emulsia (Tuttnauer part number SEA 095-0117). If you had
purchased a replacement door gasket it will have come with a small
packet of lubricant.
If insufficient grease is applied - replacing the gasket will be
difficult. If excess grease is applied, the gasket will 'spring' out
of the groove.
3. Place the gasket inside the groove and press it to fit in with a finger or a
tool with one continuous movement all the way around the groove.
