9. Enter the combination 1-2-3-4-5-6 and turn the com bi na tion dial clock wise
to open the lock and then lift the door latch (or turn the T-Handle). Make
sure the lock op er ates prop er ly be fore shutting the safe door.
10. Install the rear door panel and secure it to the rear of the cabinet door with
the two large Phil lips screws (or 9/16 inch bolts) lo cat ed in the cen ter of the
door panel and three screws lo cat ed at both the top and bottom of the panel.

Repeated beeping while the lock is open indicates that the 9 volt battery, lo-
cated in the battery box on the in side of the cabinet needs to be replaced. To
remove the battery box cov er, pull gently on the front of the box and slide the
cov er off. If the lock will not op er ate while the door is closed and locked, i.e.,
no signal from the panel when a but ton is pressed, the battery is dead and the
lock will need to be en er gized from the two round jumper terminals located on
the front, right side of the push-button panel. To energize the lock, con nect a
9 VDC battery across the ex ter nal ter mi nals with the neg a tive ter mi nal of the
bat tery fac ing up. While hold ing the bat tery against the ter mi nals, en ter the
six-dig it com bi na tion and open the lock and door. Replace the bat tery inside the
bat tery box.

There are two marks on the dial ring. The in dex at the top is used for opening
the lock. The in dex 30 degrees to the left is used only when chang ing the com-
bi na tion.
The dial should always be turned slowly and evenly. A revolution is counted
each time the selected num ber is aligned with the opening index. DO NOT
TURN THE DIAL BACK TO COMPENSATE FOR OVER-DI AL ING A NUMBER.
If any combination number is turned beyond the index when dialing, the entire
sequence must be repeated. Locks are shipped on a factory setting of ‘50’. To
unlock, turn the dial to the left (counterclockwise) FOUR turns stopping on ‘50’.
Then, turn the dial to the right until the bolt is retracted.
