The docking board is the me chan i cal in ter face and electrical bus/port controller
be tween the mainboard and the peripheral devices that make up the ATM. It also
supports the mono LCD buffer and contrast control (VEE bias voltage) circuits.

1. "Shutdown the Terminal" from Management
Functions.
2. Unlock and open the con trol pan el.
3. Push the AC pow
er ON/OFF switch to the
OFF(0) position.
4. Remove the mainboard. (Refer to the proce-
dures for R

necessary.)
5. Refer to Figure 3-74. Care ful ly unplug all of
the cables from the docking board.
6. Refer to Figure 3-74. Re move the mount-
ing screw in the cen ter of the docking board
(highlighted by the circle in Figure 3-74.) .
7. With equal pressure, carefully release the
docking board from the press fi t standoffs at
each corner and remove it from the con trol
panel.

1. Refer to Figure 3-75. Make sure the J26 LCD position jumper is installed. If
the jumper is not installed, the display will appear inverted.
2. Carefully align and with equal pressure, seat all four (4) corners of the dock-
ing board onto the press fi t standoffs.
3. Refer to Figure 3-74. Install the center mounting screw.
4. Refer to Figure 3-75. Reconnect all of the cables to the docking board.
5. Install the mainboard. (Refer to the procedures for I
