11. Refer to Figure 3-65. With the pressure clips released, gently pull back the
black plastic hinge ball snaps at the back left and right corners of the receipt
printer autocutter and slip the cutter from the mounting tray.

1. Refer to Figure 3-65. Set the back of the cutter into the mounting tray so the
ball snap hinges on both sides fi t into corresponding holes at the back left
and right corners of the assembly.
2. Refer to Figures 3-64 and 3-65. Rotate the cutter downward until the pres-
sure clips on the mounting tray snap into place. (There should be an audible
click.)
3. Refer to Figure 3-63. Connect the cutter motor to the jumper cable. (The
other side of the jumper connects at CN3 on the printer controller PCB.)
4. Refer to Figure 3-63. Secure the cutter ground wire and the printer mecha-
nism with the mounting screw.
5. Refer to Figure 3-63. Bundle the cutter and printer mechanism cables with
tie wraps.
6. Refer to Figure 3-64. Make sure the platen lever (blue) is in the closed (head
down) position.
7. Refer to Figure 3-57. Pull back the spring loaded printer mechanism locking
pin and rotate the printer mechanism back into the operational position. Re-
lease the printer mechanism locking pin. Make sure it snaps into place and
secures the printer mechanism.
8. Push the AC pow er ON/OFF switch to the ON(I) po si tion.
9. Close and lock the control pan el.
10. Verify that the ATM op er ates cor rect ly before plac ing it into ser vice.

2. Refer To Figure 3-66. Carefully press inward to release the ball snap clips on
the front left and right inside corners of the cutter mounting tray from the
corresponding holes in the top left and right corners of the printer mecha-
nism.
3. Rotate the cutter mounting tray backwards to release the rear clips and then
lift it from the printer mechanism.
