Identifying the Procedures to Follow
There are two main ways to update the InterScan Gateway Security Appliance pro-
gram file (device image). If you want to update the device image and retain the exist-
ing configuration, use the procedure described in
Updating the Device Image
Through the Web Console on page 15-3.
If you want to update the device image and restore settings to system defaults, do so
using the Trend Micro Appliance Firmware Flash Utility (AFFU).
Consult the table below to determine which instructions to follow for updating
firmware, based on what kind of update you want to do.
