Note: Renaming an InterScan Gateway Security Appliance only changes the name stored
in the Control Manager database there are no effects to the product.
Move Folders or InterScan Gateway Security Appliances
To transfer or move a folder or InterScan Gateway Security Appliance to another
location:
1. Access Directory Manager.
2. On the working area, select the folder or InterScan Gateway Security Appliance
you want to move.
3. Do one of the following:
• Drag-and-drop the folder or InterScan Gateway Security Appliance to the
target new location
• Cut and paste the folder or InterScan Gateway Security Appliance to the
target new location

Click Save .
Delete User-Defined Folders
Take caution when deleting user-defined folders in the Directory Manager, you may
accidentally delete an InterScan Gateway Security Appliance which causes it to
unregister from the Control Manager server.
To delete a user-defined folder:
1. Access the Directory Manager.
2. On the working area, right-click the folder you want to delete and then select
Delete from the pop-up menu.
3. Click Save .
Note: You cannot delete the New entity folder.
Use caution when deleting user-defined folders, you may accidentally delete an
InterScan Gateway Security Appliance
