Note: If a static route exists, you will not be able to change the IP address or netmask of
the appliance, or switch from dynamic IP address to static IP address (and vice
versa). You need to remove the existing static route before you can make these
changes.
To configure the IP address that InterScan Gateway Security Appliance uses to
check for component and firmware updates:
1. From the left-side menu, click Administration > IP Address Settings . The IP
Address Settings screen opens, displaying the Management IP Address tab.
2. Type a host name in the Hostname field.
This is the network name of the InterScan Gateway Security Appliance. Some
mail servers require a host name to accept incoming mail.
3. Select Dynamic IP address (DHCP) to use the recommended setting.
