4. Select all options that apply:
Security Risk Detected Notifications
• Subject line - when InterScan Gateway Security Appliance detects a
virus or malware in an email, the recipient receives this message in the
subject line of the email.
• Inline text - when InterScan Gateway Security Appliance detects a virus
or malware in an email, the recipient receives this message in the body
of the email.
Security Risk Free Notifications
• Inline text - when an email is scanned and determined to be free of
viruses or malware, the recipient receives this message in the body of
the email.
Unscannable File Notifications
• Inline text - when InterScan Gateway Security Appliance is unable to
scan an email attachment, the recipient receives this message in the
body of the email.
5. Optionally, customize the text of any of the email notifications. The appliance
supports the use of some helpful variables in customized messages. A list of
these variables is accessible from the
View variable list link at the top right of
the Notification tab working area.
6. Click Save .
