Configuring Web Reputation for HTTP traffic is a two-step process. You must first
select the security level to use (Target). The security level defines the action the
InterScan Gateway Security Appliance will take when it detects an attempt to access
a URL that is either known or suspected to be a Web threat. Next, decide whom to
notify when InterScan Gateway Security Appliance detects an attempt to access a
URL that is either confirmed or suspected to be a Web threat (Notification).
Note: Web Reputation is also available in Trend Micro OfficeScan. If you have both
Trend Micro OfficeScan and InterScan Gateway Security Appliance on the same
network, Trend Micro recommends enabling Web Reputation on only one of these
two solutions.
HTTP Web Reputation - Target
To configure HTTP Web Reputation - Target:
1. From the left-side menu, click HTTP > Web Reputation . The Target tab
appears.
2. Select the Enable HTTP real-time Web Reputation checking check box.
