CAUTION
The engine assembly weighs approximately 42 kg (92 lb). Use an
appropriate lift to remove the engine assembly.
13. Remove the 4 fasteners securing the engine to the engine frame and lift
the engine from the machine.
14. Continue to disassemble the engine as necessary.
Installing the Engine

IMPORTANT
Ensure that all parts removed from the engine during maintenance
are installed.
1. If the engine pulley was removed:
A. Apply anti-seize lubricant to the engine shaft and fit the square key and
engine pulley onto the engine shaft. Position the pulley approximately
28 mm (1.1 inch)
from the engine.
B. Apply a high temperature medium strength thread locking compound
(Loctite 2422 or equivalent) to the set screws and tighten from
14 to
18 N∙m (120 to 140 in-lb)
.
