NOTE
. This procedure assumes that you have a PC running MS Windows with
the Microsoft Terminal program.
The following steps describe the calibration procedure using the CALibration

1. Make sure that the Temperature Sense board is located toward the front of
the mainframe. You can see the position of the board by looking through the
exhaust holes on the side of the mainframe.
If the Temperature Sense board is located toward the rear of the mainframe,
you must remove the mainframe cover and move the Temperature Sense
board to the front of the mainframe. Refer to Procedure 6: Remove the
Temperature Sense Board on page 7–12 for instructions on moving the
Temperature Sense board. Replace the mainframe cover before continuing
with this calibration procedure.
2. Place the VX1410 IntelliFrame in a constant-temperature environment.
3. Remove all modules from the VX1410 IntelliFrame.
4. Install the empty slot panel fillers to close off the 13 slots of the mainframe.
(if necessary refer to Install Empty Slot Panel Fillers on page 1–20 for
instructions on installing the slot fillers).
5. Power on the VX1410 IntelliFrame and let it run for five minutes.
6. While you are waiting for the mainframe to warm up, execute the Microsoft
Terminal program.
