1 / Mix the eggs and sugar.
2 / Add the milk and vanilla.
3 / Mix well and strain.
4 / Remove any foam and pour into a large
dish or glass jars.
5 / Start cooking.
6 / Chill for at least 2 hrs before serving.

1 / Slice the vanilla pod in half down the
middle and remove the seeds with a
knife tip.
2 / Heat the milk in a saucepan and add
the vanilla seeds.
3 / While this is heating, beat the egg yolks
and sugar in a bowl. Pour in the cream
then add the milk, all while stirring.
4 / Strain the mixture.
5 / Spoon into glass jars or a large dish.
6 / Start cooking.
7 / Chill for at least 2 hrs before serving.
