barquettes
1 / In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar. Next
add the vanilla extract and then the flour.
2 / Put the dough in the mould indents then
cook on the

programme for 12 min.
3 / When you take the mould out, gently make
small holes in the barquettes. Leave to cool
before filling with chocolate spread.

• 1 egg
• 40 g caster sugar
• 45 g plain flour
• ½ teaspoon of
vanilla extract

1 / Separate egg whites from yolks.
2 / Beat yolks and sugar until pale.
3 / Melt butter in the non-stick pan with
programme

for 2 min at 140°C, and
whip into mixture. Thoroughly whip in milk
followed by flour and then baking powder.
4 / Whip egg whites until stiff. Mix in egg
whites adding a third at a time into previous
mixture.
5 / Pour the mixture equally into 2 mixing
bowls ; in one bowl add the vanilla extract ;
in the other, add the cocoa powder.
6 / Add the mixtures into pan alternating layers
several times.
7 / Place into Cake Factory and cook on
programme

for 45 min.
8 / Leave to cool for 5 min before removing
from the pan.
