5.14.3.2 PROGRAMMING OF THE CHANNEL ID CODE
The channel identification code (2 to 6 digits) permits connecting the control panel to
several monitoring stations that require ID codes with different length, e.g. one
monitoring station requires the code 1234 and the other 223344.

5.14.3.3 PROTOCOL
According to the device to be called (e.g. private telephone or monitoring station),
select the appropriate transmission format from the list of protocols in the appendix of
this manual.

5.14.4 PROGRAMMING OF THE CALLBACK NUMBERS
The callback function is indispensable for remote programming of the control panel.
When the installer or the monitoring station calls the control panel in order to upload/
download programming, the incorporated telephone interface interrupts the call after
the initial data exchange and calls the principal callback number programmed. This
number must correspond to the installer/monitoring station.
This procedure is to protect both the installer and the customer from attempts at
sabotage.
The principal callback number is always called first and the reserve number is called if
no connection could be established under the principal number. If none of the two
calls is successful (either because there is no answer or because the line is busy),
4 more attempts are made for each of them alternating the principal with the reserve
number.

The channels have all the same priority. The alarms are served in order of occurrence, exception
made of the hold-up alarm. If a hold-up alarm is released while the system is transmitting another
event, the active call is interrupted and the hold-up alarm is transmitted immediately. Aterwards, the
interrupted phone call restarts.
