409 Position depending delay
Description
The block supplies the position-dependent delay of a binary signal. The position
value on the input
X-act
is acquired for an edge of the input signal
In
. If the
difference between
X-act
and the acquired position exceeds the value on
X-
delay
, the output signal
Out
is set. The amount of the difference is considered.
The output signal on
Out
is retained until the input signal on
In
becomes inactive.
If the signal on
In
becomes inactive before
Out
was set,
Out
remains active for
one cycle (
A150
).
Input
EdgeSel
contains the setting of whether the rising or falling signal edge is
to be acquired on the input
In
. When
EdgeSel
contains the value 0, the rising
edge is acquired. When
EdgeSel
contains the value 1, the falling edge is
acquired.
The procedure can be retriggered (i.e., an additional rising or falling edge of the
input signal within the delay period will start the procedure again).
An active signal on the input
Reset
resets the block asynchronously. It remains
in the reset state as long as the reset signal is active.
The input
UseInTS
contains the setting of whether the input timestamps on
InTimeSt
and
X-Act-TS
will be used.
A timestamp with which a delay of the output signals can be corrected by the
cycle time (
A150
) is output on the output
OutTS
.
The status of the block can be queried on the output
State
.

1: Delay distance running. Input signal is logically active. (Level
depends on the mode.)
2: Delay distance running. Input signal is logically inactive. (Level
depends on the mode.) Retriggering possible.
3: Delay distance expired. Output signal is active as long as the input
signal is logically active. When the input signal becomes logically
inactive, the state code changes to 0.
