Locking the Keypad to Prevent an Accidental Use
<Lock key>
While carrying around the FOMA terminal with the power on, the keypad can be
locked to prevent from being pressed accidentally.
 The following operations are available while the Lock key is set.
Voice call While placing a call Stop ( )

Slide the lock key to the “ ” position.
The keypad sound is heard, the Lock key is set, and “ ” appears.
To cancel the Lock key
Slide again. The Keyguard release tone sounds and the icon
disappears.
● Even if the Lock key is set, the camera can be activated by sliding the lens cover to open as
long as the Camera in key locking is set to [Activate] (P.117). However, once you activate the
camera, the Lock key stays canceled even if the Camera mode is terminated.
● You can also mute the Keyguard release tone (P.111).
