completing the warranty repair. Use of non

approved parts is not acceptable and may void all
warranties.
Approved parts for warranty repairs may be from inventory or ordered from SPYDERCRANE. All
warranty replacement parts will be shipped via ground freight, F.O. B. SPYDERCRANE, and
invoiced like standard parts orders. A credit memo will be issued for parts used on approved
warranty repair claims. Faster freight methods may be used, provided the repair agent or end
customer accept the additional charges.
Items that are not manufactured by FURUKAWA UNIC require repair agents to follow the
manufacturer
’
s warranty policy and procedure. Any claims against these items must be made with
the manufacturer of those items.
Warranty Labor Rate
The standard labor rate for warranty reimbursement is US $60.00 per man hour. This labor rate is
effective for all repair agents unless written consent and acknowledgement has ben given by
SPYDERCRANE before the warranty repair was started.
The maximum allowed charge for troubleshooting is one (1) labor hour. Repair agents are
encouraged to contact the SPYDERCRANE service department to help diagnose and solve these
problems. In unique situations, warranty repairs may require a SPYDERCRANE service
representative to visit the unit in the field. This is a learning opportunity for the repair agent and
they are required to assist with the whole repair.
Travel Time and Mileage Charges
The SPYDERCRANE warranty policy does not include travel time and mileage reimbursement for
the delivery of warranty parts, pick
-
up and delivery of product under warranty, or the travel to
conduct any repairs that the customer thinks may qualify. We will provide written approval
outlining the particular situation and what has been approved. A copy of this letter must be
submitted with the related warranty claim.
