Maximum  charge

-

rate  is  indicated  by  the  orange

LED next to the six hash marks, minimum charge

-

rate  is  indicated  by  the  orange  LED  next  to  the

single  hash  mark.  If  the  orange  LED  is  solid,  the

charge

-

rate  is  determined  solely  by  the  charge

status  of  the  battery  array.  If  the  orange  LED  is

blinking,  the  charge

-

rate  is  being  throttled

because the internal charger is  getting too warm.

Bulk Charge Indicator

The  orange  LED  next  to  the  graphic  of  a  partially

depleted battery is the Bulk Charge Indicator and when

it  lights  up  solidly,  the  battery  array  is  80%  charged

(bulk

-

phase  charging  complete).  When  the  bulk

-

phase

charging is complete, the battery will begin Absorption

-

Phase charging and the Ammeter will indicate a reduced

charge

-

rate.

Charge Complete Indicator

The  green  LED  next  to  the  graphic  of  a  fully

-

charged

battery  is  the  Charge  Complete  Indicator.      When  the

battery  array  completes  the  Absorption  Phase  of

charging (90% capacity) it will begin the Finishing

-

Phase

and  the  Charge  Complete  Indicator  will  blink  (the  Bulk

Charge Indicator will turn off).

If the Charge Complete Indicator is lit solid, the battery

array  is  fully  charged  and  the  battery  charger  is  in

maintenance mode

(“

trickle charging

”).

Fault Indicator

The Fault Indicator is a red LED that will blink if there is

an internal problem with the battery charger.

The Battery Charger Status Panel
indicating that the finishing phase of
the battery charging cycle is
complete and the Batter Charger is
maintaining the battery array.
Notice that Ammeter is at the
lowest charging

-

rate.

The Fault Indicator of the Charger
Status Panel will light up if there is
an internal problem with the battery
charging system.
