Operating Instructions
Returning the PC094 to Travel Mode
1. BOOM IN to Stage 1, WINCHING UP to prevent the hook block from dragging on
the ground.
•
The boom is properly stored when the TS/PRC
Indicator Panel has TWO green lights.
2. BOOM DOWN until the boom is at Boom Angle - 15
°
and cannot be lowered further.
3. WINCH DOWN the hook block enough to provide
enough wire rope slack to be able to attach the hook
block to the Hook Storage Shackle.
4. Turn and hold the Safety Override Key while SLOWLY
WINCHING UP to remove the slack from the wire rope and ensure the hook block is
holding tightly against the Hook Storage Shackle. Release the Safety Override Key.
5. Store the stabilizers.
6. Rotate the Tiller Handle to the travel setting, if desired.
WARNING
Storing the Hook Block while Overriding the Safeties
Holding the Safety Override Key in the engaged position while WINCH-
ING UP overrides the A2B Safety, DO NOT overtighten the wire rope by
continuing to WINCH UP after the hook block is held tight in - position.
