Operating Instructions
Hoisting and Transporting the PC094
Rigging for Hoisting
1. Confirm that the PC094 is in Travel Mode (with the hook block attached to the
Storage Shackle) and that stabilizers are stored.
2. Rotate the Tiller Handle to Crane Mode.
3. Attach a suitable bridle hitch to the PC094 ’ s lift points on top of the boom.
DANGER
Hoisting the PC094
•
Using unsuitable hoisting equipment and/or unskilled personnel to
hoist PC094 may cause the unit to fall during the hoisting operation.
•
NEVER attempt to lift the PC094 while it is in PC Mode, or has any
loads attached to it.
•
DO NOT attempt to use the PC094, or perform maintenance on it while
it is being hoisted.
•
Ensure that ALL PERSONNEL involved in the PC094 hoisting opera-
tion are fully qualified.
WARNING
Hoisting the PC094
•
Ensure the Boom is properly stowed and the hook is secured prior to
hoisting.
•
HOIST the PC094 only as high as necessary to complete the hoisting
operation safely and clear obstacles.
•
Use guide ropes to control the PC094 as it is being hoisted.
•
Lower the PC094 to the ground slowly and carefully to prevent shock
damage.
