Operating Instructions
Features and Indicators of the Crane Control Group
These are the controls and indicators within the Crane Control Group (CCG), organized
from left
-
to
-
right.
1. Battery Level Indicator
The Battery Level Indicator displays the charge level of the
PC094 Battery Array when the PC094 is powered
-
on and
NOT plugged in.
The Battery Level Indicator has a bank of 10 green LEDs in a
horizontal row labeled
“0,” “1/2,”
and
“1.”
The LED that is
lit up indicates the battery array
’
s charge level.
Below the row of LEDs is a LCD that indicates the voltage
-
level of the Battery Array. At less than 35v indicated, the
PC094 will not run.
Once the LED is the far
-
right LED is lit, the PC094 MUST be
plugged in.
2. Keyed Ignition Switch
The PC094 Ignition Key has a weather
-
resistant rubber
boot and a short lanyard that connects to the Safety
Override Key.
To start the PC094, insert the key and rotate it clockwise
until it stops.
To stop the PC094, rotate the key clockwise until it stops
and then remove the key.
3. Keyed Safety Override Switch

WARNING
Running the PC094 on a Depleted Battery
Even when the Battery Level Indicator reads depleted, the PC094
’
s battery
array can still run the PC094 until the voltage level runs below 35 Volts.
HOWEVER continuing to drain the battery array below the
“
depleted
”
level WILL SEVERELY limit the useable life
-
cycle of the batteries, prompt-
ing an early battery replacement.
