To charge the PC094 from a conventional three

prong

compatible outlet, lift the weather
-
cap and plug in the
female end of an appropriate extension cord and then
plug in the male
-
end into the outlet.
9. Runtime Meter
The Runtime Meter indicates the number of hours and
tenths of hours that the PC094 has been run over its
lifetime.
The Runtime Meter will only accrue time when the
Keyed Ignition Switch is in the ON position.
10. Battery Charger Status Panel
The Battery Charger Status Panel is used by the operator
to monitor the charging and maintenance of the PC094

Battery Array. While the Battery Level Indicator on the
left side of the CCG is used to monitor the level
-
of
-
charge of the Battery Array while the PC094 is NOT
plugged in, the Battery Charger Status Panel is used to
check on the charging of the Battery Array while IT IS plugged in.
The Battery Charger Status Panel has a number of elements and indicators:
AC Indicator
The orange LED next to the graphic of a waving line will light up
solid if the Battery Array is receiving a compatible charge from the
120V connection. If the orange LED is blinking, there is a problem
with the connection and the array is NOT charging.
Ammeter
The Ammeter is the group of six orange LEDs; each one of which
has a graphic of between one and six orange hash marks. The
Ammeter is indicates the rate
-
of
-
charge to the battery array. Under
normal conditions, the rate
-
of
-
charge is determined by the charge
status of the array; as the array nears is charge capacity, the rate
-
of
-
charge will drop (to prevent damaging the batteries). If the battery
array is depleted, the charge
-
rate will be at a maximum, or near
-
maximum.
The Battery Charger Status Panel

battery array. Notice the AC
Indicator is also lit, indicating that
the array is charging normally.
