IMx-M Mean Time to Failure (MTTF)
IMx-M MTTF was calculated to 20,8 years, where the protection module has 25,2
years, the relay module has 139,6 years and the backplane has 772,3 years.
The calculation was done under the environmental conditions 40 °C /
104 °F
and for
the following configuration of the IMx-M machinery protection system:

two analog input channels

four alarm relay outputs
•
two analog buffered outputs
•
one digital eddy current probe input
•
one digital buffered output
•
two front panel analog buffered outputs
•
