Troubleshooting

8.4.1

Measures in event of complete failure

●

Check the power cord and its connections

●

Check the external master switch, if present

●

Check the power supply

●

Check the internal line fuse

●

Check whether the internal operating temperatures are correct, i.e. check if

corresponding fault messages are present

●

Check the supply of sample gas

●

Following high external influences (e.g. high electromagnetic interferences) it could be the

case that the software no longer functions correctly. In such cases, switch off the

SIPROCESS UV600 and switch it on again after a few seconds.

●

If the internal overtemperature fuse has tripped, inform the customer service department

so that the fuse can be replaced.

8.4.2

Response in case of fault displays

If the "Fault" LED lights up, you must check the diagnostics functions of the control unit as

well as those of the UV module for set status flags. If one of the Failure (F), Maintenance (M)

or Unsafe (U) status flags is set, check the current entries in the corresponding logbook.
The faults are listed in the logbook in tables with a fault code.
Notify the service personnel with specification of the fault code.
