Cleaning

Observe the following information when cleaning the enclosure:

●

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the enclosure

●

Moisten the cloth with water and a mild detergent if necessary. Do not use mechanically

or chemically aggressive cleaning agents!

●

Make sure that no liquid can penetrate the analyzer.

CAUTION

Danger resulting from penetrating liquid
If liquid has penetrated the analyzer:

•

Do not touch the analyzer!

•

Take the analyzer immediately out of operation by interrupting the power supply at

an external point (e.g. by disconnecting the power plug from the power socket or

switching off the external line fuse)

•

Contact the Siemens servicing department or other trained specialists in order to

have the analyzer repaired.

8.3

Maintenance

The analyzer and the associated peripheral units must be regularly checked and serviced in

order to guarantee correct functioning of the SIPROCESS UV600 and fault-free operation.
The following information provides an overview of the work to be carried out as well as the

maintenance intervals.
It is up to the operating company to decide on shortening or extension of the maintenance

interval depending on the plant.
