Sending in a unit
If a fault cannot be rectified, please contact the SEW-EURODRIVE electronics service
department (see chapter "Address list").
Please provide the following information when sending in the unit:
• Serial number (see nameplate)
• Type designation
• Device design
• Short description of the application (application, control type, etc.)
• Nature of the fault
• Accompanying circumstances
• Your own presumptions as to what has happened
• Any unusual events preceding the problem, etc.

Shutdown
To shut down the unit, de-energize the unit using appropriate measures.
10.9
Storage
Observe the following instructions when shutting down or storing the device:
• If you shut down and store the device for a longer period, close open cable bush-
ings and cover ports with protective caps.
• Make sure that the unit is not subject to mechanical impact during storage.
Observe the notes on storage temperature in chapter "Technical data".
