Each value pair represents a curve point in the diagram. The X values represent the
voltage (V) on the X-axis. The Y values represent the speed (min
-1
) on the Y-axis.
These values are clearly visible in the following figure. For the speed, only positive val-
ues are possible. The direction of rotation is specified similar to the fixed speed via the
respective input bit.

The connection from curve
point
0 to curve
point
1 is always horizontal. This also ap-
plies to curve point 3 to curve point 4. All other connections are linear.
To implement this example, you have to adjust the parameters using the DCAShell
software. You find the parameters in the "Parameter application" section on the "Ex-
tended parameters" tab.
The value for X0 and X4 cannot be changed because X0 always stands for
0
V and
X4 always for
10
V. All other entries can be made according to the application. The
unit for parameters X1, X2, and X3 is digits (0 to 1023). The maximum
number
1023
stands for the maximum voltage of
10
V. The following table shows the parameters
with the respective values for the diagram. Enter the parameters in the DCAShell engi-
neering software according to the table and transfer the data by clicking the "Write"
button. The analog setpoints will then be input according to the profile shown in the
example.
