Installation notes
INFORMATION
• Adhere to the safety notes during installation!
• The drives are built-in components and do not have an electrical isolation switch.
• Only connect the compact extra-low voltage drive to suitable electrical circuits.
Please note that the power supply units must have suitable protection against re-
generative voltage generated on the secondary side.
• When working on the drive, disconnect the system/machine from the power sup-
ply and then secure the system/machine to prevent it from being switched back on
again.
• Before connecting the systems, check to ensure the supply voltage and the con-
nection voltage are identical.
• Check to ensure the nameplate data and the motor connection data comply with
the power supply unit.
• Check to ensure the connection cables are suitable for the current rating, as well
as the ambient conditions and area of application.
CAUTION
Danger due to a discharge of static charges when installing the drive.
Possible damage to the electronic component.
• Use ESD protective equipment during installation.
