Manual mode
CAUTION
Risk of injury if the drive starts up unintentionally. Deactivating manual mode means
that the process data of the higher-level controller is effective. If the enable signal is
present via the process data, the drive can start up unintentionally.
Fatal or severe injuries and damage to property.
•
Before deactivating manual mode, unintentional start-up of the drive unit can be
prevented by activating STO or setting a "0" signal at DI09.
•
Before deactivating manual mode, set the process data in such way that the
drive is not enabled.
•
Do not change the process data until manual mode has been deactivated.
•
Take additional safety precautions depending on the application to avoid hazards
to people and machinery.
NOTICE
The maximum speed, maximum acceleration and maximum delay defined in the
axis configuration are not effective in manual mode.
Damage to the drive or the system.
•
Ensure that you do not exceed the permissible limit values for setpoint speed and
ramps using the setpoint inputs.
NOTICE
Undefined control statuses
Damage to the drive or the system.
•
In the diagnostic menu of the engineering software, ensure that no control mode
is active during manual mode in the bus monitor or the module diagnostics.
INFORMATION
Manual mode is only possible via the "ELVCD-DriveManager" plug-in. Manual mode
directly via MOVITOOLS
®
MotionStudio is not possible.
Manual mode is only possible via Ethernet, not USB.
