Minimum installation clearance
Observe the minimum installation clearances as shown in the following figures. These
apply to both the integrated inverter and mounting close to the motor:

Installation in damp locations or outdoors
ELVCD drives are supplied in corrosion-resistant design for use in damp areas or in
the open.
Repair damage to the paint work.
Condensation is not permitted for ELVCD drives.
4.5.4
Painting the ELVCD drive
NOTICE
Breather valves and oil seals may be damaged during painting or re-painting.
Possible damage to property.
•
Clean the surface of the ELVCD drive and make sure it is free from grease.
•
Thoroughly cover the breather valves and sealing lip of the oil seals with strips
prior to painting.
•
Remove the strips after painting.
