Position B Adjustm ent (Print drum )
Position-B adjustm ent for print drum rem oval (adjustm ent of the paper drum
stop angle from the position-T sensor detection)
This adjustm ent should be m ade if the position B lock plate does not engage
in print drum removal even though the print drum is at the rem oval position-B
angle.
Master Top Clamp Open Tim e Extension
Setting
Master End Clamp Open Tim e Extension
Sets the motor rotation tim e adjustment timer for opening the rear clamp.
(The rotation tim e is extended for the open/close motor opening the master
end clam p during m aster disposal to prevent damage to the m aster end and
m aster top clam p plates.)
* This setting does not need to be m ade for print drum s shipped after 1
Decem ber 2000 because they are com patible with new ink cartridges.

Makes settings appropriate for either old or new ink cartridges.
Master End Clamp Close Tim e Extension
Sets the motor rotation tim e adjustment timer for closing the m aster top clamp.
(The rotation tim e is extended for the open/close motor closing the m aster end
clamp during m aster loading to prevent damage to the master end clam p
plate.)
Sets the motor rotation tim e adjustment timer for opening the master top
clamp.
Master Top Clamp Close Tim e Extension
Sets the motor rotation tim e adjustment timer for closing the m aster top clamp.
(The rotation tim e is extended for the open/close motor closing the m aster top
clamp during m aster loading to prevent lifting of the clamp plate.)
(To prevent m aster disposal errors, the rotation time is extended for the
open/close m otor opening the m aster top clam p during master disposal to
increase the opening angle of the m aster projection plate.)
