Icons
This chapter explains all Icons used in the MediorWorks Software.
Alarm Icons
Information, for instance after creating a connection
Warning, for instance the temperature of a Frame is rising
Alarm, for instance the temperature of a Frame is too high
General Icons
Mute disabled
Mute enabled
1kHz test signal disabled
1kHz test signal enabled
Connections
Connection is active, Signal is transmitted.
Bidirectional connection active (for instance Artist Port, or link port).
Connection is interrupted, for instance Card was unplugged, or fiber was removed.
Bidirectional connection is interrupted.
Connection is damaged; parts of the allocation are failing.
Difference to interruption: damaged connection can only be fixed by re-routing.
This state occurs when:
1. A connection is set up from Frame A via Frame B to Frame C.
2. If Frame C is removed from the network.
3. If the connection will be deleted on Frame A, the connection will be deleted on Frame A and
B, but not on Frame C, due to C isn’t attached any more.
4. If Frame C will be reconnected, the state is set to damaged. The connection is still configured
on Frame C.
In this case the issue could be solved by performing a re-routing (if the bandwidth is sufficient).

SubChannels
:
If the ParentChannel is used in a connection. For instance if a MADI connection is used, all
SubChannels are marked with the gray connection icon.
ParentChannel:
If minimum one SubChannel in a connection is used. I.e. if a MADI SubChannel connection is
used, the MADI Channel is marked with the gray connection icon.
Restriction:
Output-Channels marked with this gray icon can
not be used for new connections.
