Start of the MediorNet frames
Connect the MediorNet PSU (Power Supply Unit) to mains. For redundancy reasons it is recommended that
both power supplies of the Modular Frame are connected to separate AC power. Depending on the
MediorNet version of the PSU, the connector is located at the front or rear. If MediorNet-Compact is used, it
is recommended that the Frame is supplied by mains and an external 12Vdc power supply.
The fans will start rotating full speed and the system will boot. During this time the color of the LEDs on the
front panel will change periodically. After approximately 1 minute the booting of the system is completed,
the LEDs change to a solid indication (no longer flashing) and the fans slow to a quiet, normal operation.

Download of MediorWorks
The MediorWorks application is stored on each MediorNet Frame and can be directly downloaded via Web
browser from the MediorNet Frame.
In the default configuration the IP address of MediorNet Frames is configured within the private Zeroconf
range. This address is assigned without the use of a DHCP server and is in the range between 169.254.1.1 and
169.254.254.254.
If the IP address of the Frame is unknown, download and execute MediorWorks from the
Riedel website
and
use the feature
Frame Address Properties / MediorNet Finder
in the
System menu to identify it.
Please configure the Network adapter of your PC with following address:
Address 169.254.1.100
Subnet mask 255.255.0.0
Or you can choose the automatically assigned address in the private IP range in the alternative configuration
of the Network settings.
Connect your unused Network adapter with the Config-Plug of the MediorNet Frame.
