Figure 135: Output Card configuration
The output Card can be configured into PAL or NTSC mode.
To transmit a Video signal in its origin clock phase, the system needs to be set to “Source Sync”. In this mode
the next Channel is disabled and cannot be used. Only Channel 1 and 3 of the output Card can be set to
“Source Sync” mode.
A Video signal is synchronized to the MediorNet system clock by setting the mode to “System Sync”.
Several settings in the Out-tabs are grouped in function groups. A single group can be selected by a left-click
on it's symbol. In the function group
Fram e Synchronizer the actual picture at the output can be freezed by
checking the
Manual Freeze checkbox and the latency of this Channel can be set to fixed 500 µs. In the Video
delay region the phase of the signal can be adjusted between 1 pixel and 5 frames. The output picture in
case of a signal loss can be switched between freeze (last valid picture) and gray/blue/black.
In the function group
Insert Text the on-screen display with different information’s and the
Timecode
can be
overlaid in the Video signal. The size and position of the timecode can be also selected.
In the function group
Em bedder the groups of Audio SubChannels can be included in the Video-signal. The
delay of the Audio signal can be set in 1ms steps up to 1000ms. Here you can also define the naming of the
Audio channels.
The Video off checkbox in the
Video On/Off group disabled the output of the Channel.
The Naming of the Video-Channel and the selection of
Test patterns
can be configured independent of the
selected function group.
