MediorNet User Manual 2.00.0

MediorNet Finder

The tab MediorNet Finder allows to search for attached MediorNet Frames in the network.

After selecting this tab the application searches automatically for attached MediorNet Frames in the network.
All detected Frames are listed with their corresponding IP address. This tool is very useful to identify Frames
with unknown IP-addresses. The IP configuration can be done in this tab, as well as in the tab

The

MediorNet Finder is highly dependent on restrictions and implementations of the operation

system it is running on. For instance on Ubuntu 9.10 it may happen that only when using the
first Ethernet interface the user will yield the desired results. On Windows® on the other hand,
restrictive firewalls may prevent the tool from working properly.
