Frame Address Properties

The window of the Frame Address Properties is splitted in three tabs:
IP Configuration, Node ID Configuration and MediorNet Finder.
IP Configuration
The tab
IP Configuration allows to enter and change the IP-based Addresses of the Frames.
Automatic IP
The address assignment is done automatically in the Zeroconf range (169.254.1.1 to 169.254.254). This
address range is also used in the factory default configuration.
DHCP IP
(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) The address assignment is done automatically by a DHCP-Server
in the TCP/IP-Network.
Static IP
The Frame is set by the administrator to a fixed IP address and Net mask.
use Gateway
If the MediorNet network is connected via a router, the gateway can be entered here to access the
Frames across different networks.

The command
Set Fram e IP Config will store the settings in the selected Frame.
Identify Frame
This command is useful to identify a specific Frame in a rack. After selecting a Frame and clicking
Identify
Fram e, the front LEDs will start flashing for some time.
This feature is also available in the tab
Node ID Configuration.
