The access to the MediorWorks software can be protected by a password. The password authorization is
limited to the local PC attached to the network. It is not a user right management for the system.
To change to password it is necessary to enter the actual password and two times the new password.

Service Handler 5.8.3.9
In the MediorNet network is one Frame responsible for the internal communication between Frames and the
MediorWorks software like routing, synchronization etc. This Frame is called
Service Handler. MediorWorks is
now able to use up to ten Service Handler. Case of application are IP separated MediorNet Systems
maintained together in one MediorWorks instance. Thus, connections of different networks can be routed to
transfer data between in- and outputs of IP separated networks.
The Service Handler can be selected automatically by the system itself when choosing the option Scan local
network. It’s also possible to define a specific Frame as service handler by choosing the option Use fixed IP
address(es). In this case the IP address of the desired Frame needs to be entered in the fields below.
The amount of Frames (1-10) can be selected with the +/- buttons.
