Views
Following window settings are stored when closing the MediorWorks application:
which window is open on which Workspace
position of window
size of window
state of window (normal, minimized, maximized)
These settings are restored when the application starts the next time.
An exception is the TOPOLOGY and the MATRIX. These windows are free and not docked within the
MediorWorks software.
DEVICE BROWSER

By choosing this menu item the DEVICE BROWSER is opened in the actual Workspace.
In this window all Frames in the MediorNet network and all equipped Cards are displayed. The DEVICE
BROWSER as well as the
MATRIX
are the platform for the
creation of connections
. It is divided in following
regions:

Source / Destination
In the SOURCE-region the user is able to define the origin signal to be routed through the MediorNet
network. In the DESTINATION section is the selection of the destination of the transported signal.
In the SOURCE-region are displayed
only
input Cards and input Channels.
In the DESTINATION-region are displayed
only
output Cards and output Channels.
Bidirectional Channels are displayed in both regions.
