MN-Compact Ports
CONFIG Port
The CONFIG Port is used to configure the system. To configure the Frames it is sufficient to connect a PC
to one Frame. All other Frames are configured over the fiber-network. The MediorNet CONFIG Port is 100
Mbit, full-duplex compatible with auto sense functionality.

SYNC IN & SYNC OUT Ports
The SYNC IN Port is used to synchronize the system to an external Sync. The SYNC OUT Port is used to
synchronize external systems with the Frame. MediorNet is able to create a Sync internally. For all
supported Sync formats refer to chapter

MN-Compact-PRO provides 1 input and 3 outputs. All outputs distribute the same signal and cannot be
configured independently.
MN-Compact-BASIC and -PLUS provide 1 input and 1 output.

SDI IN & SDI OUT Port
MN-Compact-PRO provides 4 (BASIC/PLUS: 2) BNC in-/outputs for 4 3G/HD/SD-SDI/ASI Video signals.
Each input operates independently and is equipped with features like format detection, frame sync, On-
Screen-Display and Audio (De-)Embedder functionality.
