EVENTS

By choosing this menu item the EVENTS-window is opened in the actual Workspace.
In this window alarms, warnings and information are displayed. They are grouped in following categories:
System Alarms, Topology Alarms, Connection Alarms, Warnings and Info.
The single Events in this window are always double-spaced. Each content is also displayed as a tooltip.
Alarms are only visible, as long as the alarm is present.
An alarm will disappear out of this list if it isn’t persisting any more, for instance if a temperature returned to
normal values.
The user is able to ignore alarms to move them to the list
Ignored Alarm s.
Warnings and information are deleted after checking the checkbox
Ignore and won’t be visible in
the
Ignored Alarm s region.

If this box is checked, an alarm is indicated by a red blinking Status-LED in the
bottom right Statusbar in MediorWorks.

Columns
Device
Displays the involved devices (Frame, Card, Channel, SubChannel).
Reason
Description of the Alarms, Warnings or Info.
Occurred
Timestamp of the Event.
Ignore
In the
Ala rms tabs:
The entry is moved to the region
IGNORED ALARMS.
In the
Wa rnings and Info tab:
The entry is removed.
Confirmed at

Displays date and time of confirmation.
Confirmed by

Displays PC-Name and Log-In-Name of the confirming user.
