Setting the Pivot Pattern
If Swath Guidance is enabled, the Viper Pro will automatically display the ‘Guide’ tab when a job is opened. To
begin swath guidance with the pivot pattern:
1.
Start with the machine located at a point on the outside of the center pivot area and touch the ‘ Set A ’ button
on the screen.
2.
Drive along the outside of the pivot pattern area and touch the ‘ Set B ’ button on the screen. Viper will create
a circular guidance path using the ‘A’ and ‘B’ points selected and display guidance paths toward the inside
of the circle.
Note:
Currently, this pattern does not require that a complete pivot pass be driven to create a guidance
path, however, the best results are usually obtained by driving further along the initial pivot swath
before setting the ‘B’ point.
