Using the OmniSeed Viper Pro System

Bin Level

The level of product remaining in each air cart bin is displayed as a percentage of the total bin height. If the bin 
displays “Ready” for the bin level, the ultrasonic sensor may need to be calibrated.

Tank Level

The estimated level of product remaining in a liquid tank is displayed for products controlled by product nodes 
4 or 5.

Touch within the Application Rates area to display the Application Control screen.

Use the on-screen keypad on the Application Control screen to enter a target rate and rate bump (-/+) value for 
each product.

Note:

If the product switch is in the off position, the product name, target rate, and rate bump (-/+) will 
display in grey (product 5 shown above). To modify settings for the product, toggle the product 
switch to the Man (manual) or Auto (automatic) position.

Rate Bump (-/+)

The rate bump feature allows the operator to raise or lower the target rate using the INC/DEC switch on the 
CAN switch box.

To use the rate bump feature:

1.

Enter a value in the “Rate -/+” field for the desired products. This is the value by which the target rate will be 
adjusted each time the INC/DEC switch is toggled.

2.

Select the “Inc/Dec Switch” option for the products to be affected by the INC/DEC switch.

3.

Touch the 

OK

 button to accept the programmed values and settings and return to the main screen.

4.

Set the product switches to Auto.

5.

Toggle the INC/DEC switch to increase or decrease the target rate of the selected products

Note:

For products set to Manual control mode, hold the INC/DEC switch to manually raise or lower the 
target rate.
