31. COMMUNICATION
Communication menu is located in <Parameters> menu. To access communication menu
press ‘Setup’ key or < Setup> quick access button. Communication between the balance
and the peripheral devices is established via the following ports:
−
COM 1 (RS232),
−
COM 2 (RS232),
−
Ethernet
−
Wi-Fi,
−
TCP
The ports are to be configured in < Communication> parameter.
Enter < Communication> parameter and press key and next press:
< Communication> button.
31.1. RS 232 Settings
Procedure:
−
Select communication port < COM1> or < COM2>.
−
Configure ports.
There are following transmission parameters for RS 232 ports:
•
Baud rate: 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200 bit/s
•
Data bits: 5, 6, 7, 8
•
Stop bits: None, 1, 1.5, 2
•
Parity: None, Odd, Even, Marker, Space
31.2. ETHERNET Settings
Procedure:

Select communication port < Ethernet>. Set the following parameters:
•
DHCP: Yes – No
•
IP Address: 192.168.0.2
•
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
•
Default gate: 192.168.0.1
CAUTION:
Above settings are for information purpose only. Transmission parameters have to be
selected in accordance with the settings of customer’s local network.
Upon completing modifications, press button, the following message is displayed:
<Restart balance to implement changes>.
Return to weighing mode and restart the device.
