4.2.3.3.1 RSSI A. Rx Threshold
The A. Rx Threshold parameter is an Auto-Receiver Threshold setting tool used to enable and set the dB level
between channels for switching tracking channels automatically. When enabled (On), the RSSI/AGC meters
(vertical bars) turn yellow when the target has been acquired (signal level was at some point above the acquisition
threshold) but the RSSI/AGC level is below the acquire threshold. When set to the desired signal level difference
between channels, tracking automatically switches to the channel with the higher signal level. Above the AGC is set
to switch when > 4.0 dB.
4.2.3.3.2 RSSI Auto Rx Off
The Auto Rx Off enables/disables the auto receiver tracking channel switching function. When enabled, the
RSSI/AGC signal meters are yellow. When disabled, the signal meters have no color.
4.2.3.3.3 Gain
The Gain feature provides the user with High (Hi), Medium (Md), and Low (Lo) amplifier gain settings. In Figure
96, all three bands are set to the medium power amplification setting (Md). The gain difference between each setting
is approximately 10 dB.
4.2.3.3.4 RSSI Active Frequency
The Active Frequency feature displays the frequency the receiver is currently tuned to, as shown in Figure 97. This
display only works if the receiver has been linked to the RSSI GUI by entering the receiver
’
s IP address in the
settings in the Add Receiver Parameters window. The window only displays the active frequency set at the receiver.

4.2.3.3.5 RSSI Receivers
The Active Frequency feature displays the available receiver(s) (up to 16 total available receiver channels). Each
button selection displays a group of four receiver channels / AGC signal level meters (1-4), (5-8), (9-12), and (13-
16) below the selection buttons. Only four (4) receiver channels can be displayed at a time in the RSSI area. The
channel designator is labeled within each meter, as shown in Figure 98.
