4.2.1.7.4  Client Software (GUI) Update 

When updating the Windows Client Software (GUI) (not firmware!), located on the connected, Windows PC, the 
Firmware Update tab described in section 4.2.1.7.3 is NOT used. 

Instead, a windows installer with the executable file is placed on a flash drive which is inserted into any available 
USB port on the client PC. The new software is then installed (like any, typical windows executable file) by 
selecting the file and completing the install. 

4.2.1.8 

View 

The View drop down menu is accessed via the Main Tool Bar, as shown in Figure 80. The features include multiple 
views or windows which can be independently opened and placed on the Windows Desktop. These windows contain 
tools for calibrating, checking, and operating the tracking system parameters. These parameters include: feed 
operation, motion tuning capability, testing, and tracking functions. The functional scope for showing various 
signals generated by the system (such as the generated AM) is accessed through these features as well. Their 
functionality is described in the following sections.
